Brophy’s is a State and Federally Licensed Retailer located at 121 Wood Street Middleboro.

Announcement:

Due to Covid 19 we will be closing at end of day today for two weeks. If you have a firearm on delay, or need something, we will schedule one-on-one appointments as long as allowed under regulations issued state and federally.

Procedures for anyone coming in today:

**Please use rear entrance into Brophy’s as we are only allowing limited people in the door at a time.

**If purchasing a firearm we are suggesting you come in and get the transaction started. We will allow you to leave and run errands and call you when done as NICS has been averaging over 2 hours. To keep everyone safe we are trying to limit anyone in the shop area that that long.

**Please make sure to wash your hands and use sanitizer as often as you can.

**We have very limited ammo at this time and will be limiting what’s in stock to be able to make sure we have ammo for gun purchases. One box per person. No carry ammo without gun purchase. Sorry. We will notify you as stock starts to come back in. We have stock enroute.

Brophy’s will keep you updated as stock comes in. If you have a specific need, send us a pm, or give us a call and we will add you to a list for call back as things come in.

Thanks for your patience and know we will continue to do our best to serve you in the months ahead.

We will continue to post firearms on Northeast shooters, Gun Broker, and Arms list if you are interested in anything. You can make payment over the phone to reserve and again we will work with you to schedule pick up as allowed.

Brophy’s will be hosting a seminar at Reedy’s. The topic is Massachusetts / Federal Gun Law & Regulation for the MA resident/LEO/Retailers.

This 3 ½ + hour long seminar explains state and federal laws and regulation in layperson terms. Students will explore applicable MGL and CMR as it pertains to definitions, gun purchase, possession, transport, record keeping requirements, buying/selling, interstate transport, interstate purchase, ammunition storage and best practices for gun owners.
Students will receive a hard copy of the 100+slide show, various EOPSS documents/forms, GOAL Law Booklet and course certificate.
Jon Green has been the Director of Education and Training for Gun Owners’ Action League since 1999. He served on the NSSF Range Advisory Committee for 4 years and has owned and managed FFL 01 Businesses. He has taught similar classes to thousands of citizens, hundreds of Mass State Police BFS Certified Instructors, Massachusetts Hunter Education Instructors and Massachusetts Environmental Police Officers.

This course will be held downstairs at Reedy’s Archery. Through reciprocity agreements, the non resident Utah permit is honored in 35 states.  The class gives you all the information you need to comprehend federal interstate laws, Utah State Laws, Use of Force, Concealed Carry Techniques and much much more.. See a map below for current coverage. Green/Blue states indicate where your permit from Utah and MA are honored. A Massachusetts LTC is required to take this course.$75 per person
